Would they get right to work, designing the car of your dreams, complete with every last detail and every option that you wanted? Typically, the answer to that question is no. While you can order a new vehicle to your liking based on the available options, most automobile manufacturers have to build their cars for everyone as it would cost too much to create one-off designs for each customer.

When we think of solar powered vehicles, many questions come to mind. How far can it drive? Can I drive at night? What will it look like? And, while these are all very good questions, they actually lead to the answers to our original question, “What do people want from solar powered cars?” How? Let’s take a look and see:

What Do People Want From Solar Powered Cars?

Efficiency- we want efficiency and range. We want to be able to drive for long distances without having to plug in and recharge our batteries. We want to know that we can drive our solar powered vehicles at night without being stranded somewhere.

Stylish Design- we want a solar powered vehicle that looks good. It should be well-finished with high quality materials and built using the latest manufacturing standards.

Comfort- we want solar powered vehicles that we can drive comfortably. Many of the prototypes we have seen have the driver in a prone position with his head and neck strained upward so they can see the road. We want to be able to sit comfortably and have a perfect view of the road from all angles.

Affordability- we want a solar powered vehicle that we can afford. If you have seen the prices of some of the top electric vehicles, you will know that they can be quite expensive. We should all be able to afford a green vehicle.
